MEMBERS of Droitwich’s twinning groups will help celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in style with a selection of must-see musical entertainment.

Droitwich Spa Town French and German Twinning Groups are supporting the town council by arranging musical entertainment tomorrow evening (Saturday).

The event will celebrate the links between Droitwich and its twin towns of Bad Ems in Germany and Voiron in France with musical entertainment to give a flavour of these destinations.

The marquee in Vine’s Park will open at 7.30pm with the sounds of the accordion to welcome guests before Karl’s Bavarian Brass oompah band, complete with lederhosen, take to the stage from 8pm.

Guests will be able to while away the evening again to the sounds of the accordion during the band’s break before the

conclusion of the event at 11pm.

Admission is free and anyone interested is invited to simply turn up and enjoy the sounds of France and Germany.
