A DROITWICH writer is set to make a show of her home county with a special festival exhibition next month.

Sarah James will host ‘An Eyeful of Words’, a colourful poetry-art exhibition, at Droitwich Library from June 6 to June 27.

The exhibition to use art and photography to open up poetry to wider audience and will take place during the Worcestershire Literary Festival and the Droitwich Music and Arts Festival.

The photos and canvases, which celebrate nature and the local surroundings including shots taken from local canal tow paths, have been chosen to interact

with their accompanying poems and offer an alternate way into poetry.

Sarah will also be running a drop-in poetry workshop on June 23 from 11am to 1pm at the library which will allow visitors to explore the exhibition and talk to

Sarah about An Eyeful of Words and poetry in general.
