Hi: 13° Lo:1° 7 day

DROITWICH residents and local groups are being reminded there is still time to take their place at the Olympic torch relay party in the town on May 24.
The extravaganza is being organised by Wychavon District Council and will be held in the Victoria Square between 4pm and 6.30pm on the day Droitwich welcomes the Olympic torch.
Live music from W Factor finalists, demonstrations and performances from local community groups, street entertainment and various other information stands from local groups in the area will form the backbone of the festivities.
There will also be a dance and drumming performance and a pig roast at the Red Lion pub along Worcester Road.
Organisers still want to hear from community groups who want to have a stall on the day.
Anyone interested is asked to call Tracy Grubb on 01386 565168 or e-mail tracy.grubb@wychavon.gov.uk for more information.
