CREATIVE youngsters at St Peter’s CE First School in Droitwich showcased their artistic flair with a packed week of events. Pupils in reception printed tulip pictures, made flowers by blowing paint through a straw and also developed a large stained glass window collage and spring garden design.
Children in year’s one and three examined the work of Monet and William Morris respectively while year three pupils produced tissue paper art in the style of Eric Carle.
Local professional artist Rosie Phillpott was welcomed into school to work with year four pupils on their picture of a ‘superhero athlete’.
The week culminated in an art exhibition in the school hall which saw parents invited into school to take a peek at the masterpieces which were produced.
