AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD Droitwich girl has suffered a broken leg after an incident with a car outside St Peter’s First School.
An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle attended the incident which happened outside on The Holloway at around 8.15am on Tuesday (March 13).
The car involved was a grey Audi and police confirmed, following the incident, the driver gave a negative breath test.
The girl was taken to The Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Headteacher Tracey O’Keeffe-Pullan said: “Following the accident earlier this week, our thoughts and prayers have been with the child involved and her family.
“Staff and pupils wish her a speedy recovery and everybody at St Peter’s First School is looking forward to giving her a warm welcome back once she has recovered.”
