YOUNG bookworms at a Droitwich school celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as their favourite characters.
Pupils and staff at St Peter’s CE First School marked the occasion by turning up in costumes like their favourite ‘fairytale’ characters.
Headteacher Tracey O’Keeffe Pullen, said: “I look forward to this celebration every year as it really capture’s the pupils’ imagination.
“It’s always so exciting to see how much effort has gone into the wonderful costumes we see every year,” she added.
