A MAN described as possibly one of the greatest singers this country has ever produced has joined forces with an old friend for an exciting new project.
David McAlmont and Guy Davies have formed Fingersnap, a group which will be wowing audiences at Artrix in Bromsgrove on Wednesday (March 7) at 8pm.
Having met back in 1997, their friendship blossomed with live and studio collaborations. Fingersnap’s first release comes in the form of the Smokehouse EP, written while on a writing retreat in Ireland last year and recorded in London over the summer.
I Wanna Rise is the uplifting lead track from the their new EP which also features the brilliant Some Kind of Masterpiece, the startlingly powerful song Mister and the controversial track The Bishop of New Hampshire.
Tickets cost £16 or £14.50 concessions and are available by visiting www.artrix.co.uk or call the box office on 01527 577330.
