BROMSGROVE CC and their captain Mark Evenson have been presented with the Birmingham Cricket League Division One Fair Play award for the second year running.
The umpires from each match grade the sportsmanship of the teams and marks are added up at the end of the season to determine the winner.
Club chairman Nick Husbands said: "To win this award twice is a credit to the club. The league gets increasingly competitive and the level of cricket is high, so to maintain high standards of sportsmanship at all times is fantastic.
"The team finished in a disappointing eighth place last season, but, with the addition of some new players that we have signed and with some of our very promising younger players challenging for a first team place, we are aiming our sights much higher in 2012."
