DROITWICH patients can now benefit from the introduction of audiology and hearing services at the town’s medical centre.
Patients can take advantage of a specially designed room where clinical audiologists can undertake a full range of testing using advanced equipment as well as providing advice and support to those with hearing difficulties.
Debbie Hinton, Countywide Audiology Services Manager for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals, said: “We are really pleased to be able to offer this service locally for Droitwich people.
“This is the final link is the chain of clinics we have across the county which in turn compliment the services at our
Alexandra, Worcestershire Royal and Kidderminster Hospitals,” she added.
Appointments are currently available on a Monday or Tuesday but the centre hope a full service will be established by the summer.
