GREEN-FINGERED youngsters at St Peter’s CE First School learned more about caring for the world around them with a dedicated week of events.

As part of ‘Eco-Week’, staff and children began with a whole school worship to remind children and adults that everyone can make a difference and protect the planet.

Each year group also completed an environmental review which included topic areas such as healthy living, energy and recycling.

And the packed programme of events was completed with an ‘Accessorize in Green’ day which saw children and staff come into school wearing such things as green ties, hair bands and bows.
