Inner Wheel make Guide Dogs donation

A DONATION was made to Guide Dogs for the Blind at the recent meeting of the Inner Wheel Club of Droitwich Spa.

Club president Pam Plumridge made the kind-hearted gesture at the end of the meeting which saw the ladies welcome district chairman Janet Tomlinson.

Members were commended on their recent fund-raising efforts by Janet who also referred to her own career and service for the Inner Wheel.

She drew attention to the positive advantages of membership of clubs generally, as friendships developed and understanding increased with the sharing of ideas, interests and practical activities.

And in thanking Janet for her time, Pam Plumridge presented a donation to Janet’s chosen charity during her year in office.
