A SPECIAL concert is being staged to mark the 50th anniversary of composer John Ireland’s death.
Mark Bebbington will perform the musician’s piano sonata before joining forces with the Coull Quartet for Worcestershire-based composer Ian Venables’ lyrical Piano Quartet.
The Bromsgrove Concerts event takes place at 8pm on Friday, January 20 and will also include music by Britten, Cowie and Simpson.
Tickets cost £16 (£15 discounted rate, £5 for full time students over 25 and the unemployed) and are free for eight to 25-year-
