STAFF and students at Droitwich Spa High School will getting the party started tomorrow (Saturday) to celebrate the school’s 40th birthday.
The event, organised by headteacher Natalie Waters, will take place in and around the school from 10am to 4pm.
A range of activities including tours of the school, stalls run by the various departments, a fun run and the formal opening of a new ‘Peace Garden’ at the front of the school will be on offer.
One of the major attractions will be a display of memorabilia from across the past four decades.
Mrs Waters said: “Forty is a very significant birthday, so we really want to mark the occasion.
“We are hoping lots of former staff and students will be able to come along and see how the place has changed since
1971,” she added.
