YOUNGSTERS from Droitwich Air Cadets are celebrating after the squadron won five trophies at a competition at RAF Cosford. TODDLERS at a Droitwich’s St Peter’s Pre-School, based at St Peter’s Church, turned into pirates and princesses to celebrate the arrival of their very own treasure chests.
Youngsters donned Peter Pan costumes and were handed their Bookstart pirate chests.
The three and four-year-olds were given the chests packed with books, reading information and other learning goodies as part of the national Bookstart scheme which also saw them welcome a visitor from the local library.
